A SUFFOLK girl has her eyes firmly set on stardom after being selected for a national beauty contest.

Gemma Sebburn, from Lakenheath, is one FHM magazine's 100 High Street Honeys but she hopes to make the last ten and maybe even win the competition altogether.

She hopes to use the competition to launch a career in television but she needs public votes to reach the coveted top spots.

“This should be a massive platform,” said the ambitious 25-year-old. “Mostly I have been singing and auditioning for drama school but you never know what you are going to get out of a competition like this.

“The top prize is a presenting contract with Kiss TV and that would be fantastic.”

Miss Sebburn, who counts dog walking among her interests, has been working as bar maid. She said she had been working towards her preferred career in TV since she was 15 and she hoped her drive and ambition would come through in her pitch to win.
