A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Ipswich.

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Ipswich.

The victim was walking along Spring Road at 7.10pm today when two offenders threatened to stab him.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said they stole his mobile and i-Pod and ran off towards the town centre.

He said a 16-year-old girl from Ipswich had been arrested in connection with the incident and was in custody talking to officers.

However he said they were still trying to trace the second offender - described as a black male, about 6ft tall, slim and wearing black clothing and a hooded top.
