The trial of a Suffolk man accused of downloading indecent images of children is expected to take place in March.
Before Ipswich Crown Court today for a plea and trial preparation hearing via a prison video link was Kevin Stiff, 50, of Slades Close, Glemsford, who pleaded not guilty to two offences of making indecent images of children on November 7 this year.
The offences relate to one image in the most serious level A category and one image in the lowest level C category.
Stiff also denied breaching a sexual harm prevention order made at Ipswich Crown Court in 2015 by having a mobile device which he hadn’t declared to the police.
He also denied an offence of attempted sexual communication on November 2 this year.
The charge alleges that for the purpose of sexual gratification he attempted to communicate with a girl under the age of 16 by asking her what underwear she was wearing
Stiff’s trial is expected to take place during a two week warned list commencing March 5.
