The event, on Friday, October 12, saw 100 people dress up for a glamorous evening of fine dining, live music and fun while raising cash for a good cause.

The event raised £1,245, with more cash yet to be counted.

The proceeds from the evening are being donated to the fundraising campaign of Christine Wise, who has raised more than £45,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice since the death of her husband Andy in 2014.

The event’s organiser Sharon Topple, from STE Wedding and Independent Celebrant, said: “It was spectacular, the finishing touches really made it.
