A GOOD Samaritan who stopped to help after a car crashed and overturned on the A12 had his car stolen by the badly injured people he was trying to help.

He then narrowly escaped injury himself when another vehicle collided with the overturned car at 4am on Saturday morning on the Ipswich-bound track at Ardleigh.

Police believe the thieves received serious injuries because their gold-coloured Renault Clio was full of blood. They stole a green L-registration Vauxhall Astra and drove off towards Ipswich.
