FIREFIGHTERS have tackled an undergrowth fire in the Rendlesham area this evening.
At just after 6pm one crew from Woodbridge Fire Station were called to the incident on the sports field on Knight Road in the village.
When they arrived at the scene firefighters found a small patch of gorse and grass was alight and they used one hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was brought under control by 6.20pm.
