OFFICERS have been alerted to reports of hare-coursing in Suffolk this afternoon.

Suffolk police received a call from a member of the public at around 2.45pm reporting an incident near to the Hungry Hill and the A143 at Great Barton.

Details are not yet clear but officers are asking landowners to remain vigilant, not confront any illegal courses and call police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

If it is possible and safe to do so take down the registration details of any vehicles involved.
