Great Bromley: Man suffers injuries in second road crash on A120 today

A man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision in north-east Essex.

Hours after a woman was airlifted to hospital after sustaining serious chest injuries on the A120 near Little Bromley, a man suffered minor injuries on the dual carriageway near Great Bromley at about 2.15pm today.

Fire crews freed the man from the wreckage following the collision which involved a silver Mitsubishi Elegance and a green Toyota Prius.

An Essex police spokesman said the injuries were not thought to be serious.

The A120 is known as an accident blackspot and has seen numerous crashes over the years.

A woman was in a stable condition in hospital following another two-vehicle crash on the road near Little Bromley at around 8.15am today.
