A Suffolk man has been charged with attempted murder, police have said.

Graham White, 60, of Cherrytree Road, Great Cornard, has been charged with attempted murder and will appear before Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today.

The charge comes after police were called to Poplar Road, Great Cornard, following a report that an assault had taken place on a woman in her 30s at around 3.15pm on October 2.
