CHILDREN in the Babergh and Mid Suffolk district council areas have been enjoying some Olympic-style fun, at one of a range of activity sessions organised by the local authorities during the school summer holidays.
On Wednesday, which was National Play Day, youngsters took part in a free turn-up-and-play session at Great Cornard Sports Centre, where they were able to have a go at trampolining, kite making, basketball, tennis, kangoo, football, cycling, and arts and crafts.
Similar activities will run from August 6, during a ‘summer of sport’ week at Hadleigh leisure centre. For more information, visit www.babergh.gov.uk or call 01473 826622.
