A former teacher and media personality has appeared in court charged with seven counts of historic abuse relating to schoolboys.
A date has now been set for Simon Warr to appear at Ipswich Crown Court following his appearance at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today.
He is accused of four counts of gross indecency between 1979 and 1994 and three indecent assaults between 1980 and 1994.
The court heard the alleged offences were against three boys at schools in Great Finborough and Holbrook when Warr was a teacher at those schools. The boys were aged under 14 and 16.
Warr, 60, of Great West Road, Hounslow, has been released on conditional bail to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on October 10.
There is a trial window of February 10 to March 21 next year.
