Cyclists who want to find something unusual when they hire a bike from a Greater Anglia station can now download a new guide to strange destinations!
The Quirky Bike Guide has been produced by Bike & Go, the company set up by Abellio to provide cycle hire at its stations on rail franchises across the country
It has been published to coincide with English Tourism Week, which runs from March 17-25, and has been compiled with the help of cyclists who responded to an appeal by the bike hire scheme for people to submit their favourite alternative routes.
The guide, which can be downloaded free of charge from www.bikeandgo.co.uk, celebrates the best “off the beaten track” places to cycle.
Those without bikes can try out one of the routes in the guide by hiring a bike from: Clacton, Colchester, Ely, Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Manningtree, Norwich and Stowmarket stations.
