Six rail services have been cancelled because of train faults this afternoon - while a faulty radio system has disrupted another service.
Greater Anglia said its 3pm Braintree to London Liverpool Street service would start at Witham “due to a fault with the train driver to signalbox radio system”.
Faulty trains have also affected Ipswich to Peterborough services, which also call at Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds, as well as Norwich to Great Yarmouth services.
Speed restrictions due to the hot weather have led to disruption on the Norwich to London mainline.
