All lines between Colchester and Ipswich have reopened after a person was hit by a train this morning.

Greater Anglia said the main line was blocked after the incident, warning that all services between the two stations will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

However, the firm said all lines have now reopened - though there may still be some disruption to services due to train and driver displacement.

Rail replacement bus services were arranged to take commuters to their intended destinations.
