Passengers using Greater Anglia trains are facing delays this afternoon because of a signalling fault.

Bosses at the rail operator say an issue with the system between Kennett and Dullingham, near Cambridge, is disrupting services and causing them to run at a reduced speed.

People planning on travelling to Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge by train today are urged to use the JourneyCheck tool.

“Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised,” a spokesman said.

“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

“We apologise for the disruption to your train services today.”
