The body of a woman in her 20s was discovered near a disused rail line in Hadleigh on Thursday afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, near Station Yard, at about 4pm, but the woman was declared dead on the scene.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The coroner has been informed.
