POLICE have confirmed the death of a 41-year-old man is no longer being treated as murder.
Police officers were called to Clopton Gardens, Hadleigh, at 9.45pm on Sunday and found Simon Mitchell with a serious head injury. He later died at Ipswich Hospital.
His dad, Cecil Mitchell, 68, known as Mitch, was arrested on suspicion of murder but released on bail on Tuesday. It is believed Simon lived with his dad at the address.
But a post-mortem examination confirmed no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and Mr Mitchell will face no further action.
The death has been passed to the coroner's office and an inquest will take place in the near future.
