A woman was trapped in her car following a single vehicle collision on the A1071.
Police were called to the incident at 1.24pm.
A police spokeswoman said the woman in the vehicle, a Skoda, was suffering foot and chest pain.
Both the fire and ambulance service were called to the incident and the road was closed until 2.42pm.
The lady was taken to hospital and her vehicle was recovered.
