The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) was called out to Halesworth this morning to a man who is believed to have had a heart attack.
Police officers and the ambulance service also attended the scene at a residential property in Mount Pleasant.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said they were called to the address at 8.15am after someone had grown concerned for a neighbour in his mid 60s.
Officers forced entry to the property, where they found him unconscious, and called the ambulance service.
An EAAA spokesperson said: “Despite the best efforts of all those at the scene, unfortunately nothing could be done to help this patient. Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this sad and difficult time.”
