Halsey and Mason are Rye's Pairs racers

RYE House Kart Raceway Cobras duo Danny Halsey and David Mason will represent the East Herts club in the National League Pairs Championships on Tuesday.

RYE House Kart Raceway Cobras duo Danny Halsey and David Mason will represent the East Herts club in the National League Pairs Championships on Tuesday.

The 10 competing sides have been split into two five team groups and will race at the Isle of Wight.

Halsey and Mason will face the host club Islanders, whose hopes may well rest on the availability of fractured collarbone victim Tom Brown, Newport, King's Lynn and Scunthorpe in their round-robin group.

In the other group tandems from Weymouth, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Buxton and Mildenhall will fight it out to make the final four.

The top two finishers in each will progress to the semi-finals, and ultimately the Grand Final held at the end of the night.
