A MAN is to appear before magistrates today having been charged in connection with a firearms incident in Halstead, Essex.
Police were contacted shortly after 8am on Wednesday, July 25, following reports that a man had received a face injury when an air weapon was fired at him at White Horse Avenue.
A man was later arrested in Braintree and a weapon was recovered.
Henry Gaskin, 29, of Long Green, Cressing has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, assault causing actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and possessing cannabis.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court this morning.
