A teenage girl was taken to hospital today after potentially breaking her elbow while trampolining at a school in Halstead.

Paramedics were sent to the school, which has not been named, at about 11.55am following reports a girl had hurt her elbow when she landed on trampoline.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We assessed the girl, who had potentially broken her elbow, before taking her to West Suffolk General Hospital for further treatment.

“We do regularly receive calls for incidents that have happened at schools – trips in the playgrounds, clashes of heads on the football pitch etcetera, but trampolining calls are certainly rarer.”
