Halstead: Police helicopter searches for shoplifter suspect

THE police helicopter was called in to search for a suspected shoplifter.
The man was seen running down Halstead High Street shortly after an incident in Boots.
Officers were called at 2.17pm today and began searching the area.
The police helipcopter, which was nearby, was called in to assist.
No one has so far been detained.
