A man pushed a woman against a wall and snatched her handbag during a robbery in Colchester.
The victim, 19, was walking along Gilberd Road close to the junction with Sadler Close at 10.20pm on Wednesday June 3 when she was followed by a man.
When she challenged him he pushed her against the wall, placed his hand over her face, and pulled her bag from her shoulder.
The robber also snatched her mobile phone from her hand and ran off.
The suspect was black, aged in his early 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall and of skinny build.
He had sideburns and wore a grey hoodie and jeans.
