Firefighters are this evening tackling a blaze involving a fish and chip shop in Harleston town centre.
Four crews were called to Monty’s Fish and Chips at just before 6.30pm as a result of a fire involving the frying range.
Appliances from Harleston, Diss, Bungay and Stradbroke fire stations are in attendance and an aerial ladder has also been called.
The fire in Redenhall Road has resulted in the closure of the road just off Harleston town centre.
No injuries have been reported.
