A pedestrian was taken to hospital with fractures to both leg after being involved in a collision with a car on a Suffolk road.

The crash happened on Lawsahll Road, Hartest, at about 6.20pm yesterday.

The road was blocked to traffic while emergency services responded to the incident.

A male pedestrian was left with possible head injuries and fractures in both legs.
