A boy who suffered a suspected head injury at a beach in north-east Essex was flown to hospital yesterday.
An East Anglian Air Ambulance spokesman said it received reports a young boy had fallen and sustained the suspected head injury in Harwich shortly after 12.15pm.
Critical care paramedic Simeon Tomlinson and pre-hospital care doctor Pam Chrispin treated the youngster at the scene before he was flown to Ipswich Hospital.
The air ambulance spokesman said it is thought the boy was in a stable condition yesterday.
No further details about the incident were released.
