TWO men assaulted a motorist during an altercation on the A120.

At about 4.20pm last Monday, a row broke out between a man in his 30s from Harwich who was the driver of a black Renault Megane and the occupants of a white Audi TT. Police said the altercation was over driving behaviour.

The man from Harwich was then assaulted by the men who drove off.

They are described as white, aged between 25 and 30-years-old, of average build and spoken with northern accents. They were also smartly dressed.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the Audi vehicle or who may know the two men to contact them. They also wish to speak to the driver of a supermarket delivery vehicle which has behind the Megane.

Anyone with information should contact Pc Dawn Bee at Harwich police station on 101.
