Police are appealing for information after a car was broken into in Harwich.

A blue Peugeot 306 was broken into between 10pm on April 20 and 8.30am on April 21 in Highfield Avenue.

Stolen from inside was a TomTom sat-nav and two iPhone chargers.

Motorists are reminded not to leave valuables on display in their cars and make sure their vehicles are secure at all times.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pc Steven Baldwin at Harwich police station on 101.
