The valuable collection was seized from a home in Mill Lane, Thurston, near Bury St Edmunds, between 11am and 12pm yesterday.
Thieves stole two vases and a purse in a house burglary in a north-east Essex town.
The crooks smashed through a back door of a home in Pepys Street, Harwich, before seizing the items.
It took place between midday and midnight on Wednesday, prompting Essex Police to launch an investigation.
Witnesses or people with information relating to this incident are urged to call the force on 101.
