Alesha Coan, 36, was last seen at her home in Elmstead Road at 4.15pm yesterday.

She takes regular medication, which she does not have with her, leading police to be very concerned for her welfare.

Alesha is white, of very slim build, 5ft 6ins tall, with long brown hair –believed to be worn loose down to the middle of her back.

When she left home she was wearing a long black padded coat which came down past her knees and has a rip in the back of it with the white coat stuffing poking out.

She took with her a light brown bobble hat which has tassels down over the ears, and was also wearing pink lace-up snow boots with black soles, black leggings and a black top.

Today officers have been searching a number of areas, and carried out door-to-door enquiries along Elmstead Road.

If anyone sees Alesha call police on 999.
