Police in Essex are searching for missing 14-year-old Matthew Whitfield from Braintree.
Matthew was last seen in the early hours of this morning, Friday, January 25.
According to a spokesman for Essex Police, Matthew has been reported missing before but officers and his family are concerned for his welfare.
He is described as having braces on his teeth and was last seen wearing a black Mountain Warehouse puffa jacket, a grey Nike hooded top, grey Nike jogging bottoms and khaki green Nike trainers with a black rim.
Police say he is known to frequent the Church Street and Church Lane areas of Braintree
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Braintree Police Station on 101.
