A Suffolk man is due to appear in court next month after having been charged with death by dangerous driving in relation to a collision which claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
The collision happened in Hempstead, Essex, when a Honda CBR 125 and a Ford Focus struck each other on the B1054 between Boytons Lane and Water Lane shortly after 7am Wednesday, July 4.
The motorcyclist, 37-year-old Derek Foster from Winstanley Road in Saffron Walden, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 29-year-old man from Haverhill was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has now been charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail prior to his appearance at Colchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 6.
