A MAN in his 60s had to be sedated before being taken to hospital after falling at a property in Haverhill.
The Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance and an ambulance vehicle were called to the scene just after 9am on Wednesday.
The man suffered a leg injury and helimedix volunteers on board the air ambulance gave him strong pain relief and then sedated him.
He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance where his condition was described as stable.
