A person has been rescued after they fell about 10ft into a water drainage channel in Haverhill.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the female - for whom they did not have an age - fell into the channel at Lordscroft Lane at about 11pm last night.
It is believed the fire service rescued her and she was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where her injuries are not thought to be serious.
There was no further information available on this incident.
