An air ambulance was seen hovering near to a Suffolk sports ground last night.

Members of the public contacted this newspaper with reports of a helicopter approaching the ground of Felixstowe and Walton FC Football Club in Dellwood Avenue.

One resident captured an image of the air ambulance as it left the scene around 9pm.
