High Garrett/Danbury: Multi-vehicle crashes close off roads

TWO multi-vehicle collisions have closed off roads in Essex this morning.

Four vehicles were involved in a smash in Gosfield Road, High Garrett, around 8.30am.

Essex Police said no-one was injured in the incident.

Later three vehicles collided in Main Road, Danbury, around 9.15am, closing off the A414 between Riffhams Lane and Elm Green Lane.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service said a man was trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles and had to be cut free.

The road had reopened by 11am.
