A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash on an Essex road.
Emergency services were called at about 2.15pm to the A131 Halstead Road in High Garrett, Braintree, following a collision between two vehicles.
Police described the crash as serious and said a woman had been taken to hospital by air ambulance. No one else is thought to have been badly injured in the collision.
The road has been closed in both directions between the Peterfield’s Lane junction and the Gosfield Road junction.
