HINTLESHAM: Two people were taken to hospital following a collision involving a car and a van.
The crash happened just after midnight at the junction of Timperleys and George Street, in Hintlesham.
Firefighters from Hadleigh and Princes Street were called to help free the van driver, who was trapped in his vehicle.
By around 1am the injured driver had been released with hydrualic cutting equipment and was taken to Ipswich Hospital. A casualty from the car was also taken to hospital. Neither were thought to have suffered life threatening injuries.
