MOTORISTS are suffering delays because a five foot deep hole believed to have been caused by a collapsed sewer has appeared in a road.
The top of Bent Hill, Felixstowe, has been closed while engineers investigate what may have caused the problem.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the road was likely to be closed for sometime and that diversions are in place.
She said it is believed the hole - which measures two foot wide and five foot deep - was caused by a collapsed sewer.
