A man who absconded from Hollesley Bay prison has been recaptured by police in London.
Louis Stanley, 32, was serving a sentence of four-and-a-half years for burglary and dangerous driving, when he was reported missing around 8.40pm on Wednesday, January 13.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police alerted Suffolk police at around 2pm this afternoon that Stanley had been arrested in the Uxbridge area.
He will now be returned to prison.
Suffolk police has thanked members of the public and media for their help in the appeal.
