POLICE are renewing their appeal for help in tracing a Hollesley Bay prisoner who absconded this month.

Lee Chapman, 34, who was serving a life sentence for robbery and arson, was last seen at the prison at 6am on Monday, October 8 and was found to be missing around 8.20am.

Chapman has connections to the Peterborough area and is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim to medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

If anyone sees Chapman they should phone police with the details. They should not approach him or take any further action.
