Hollesley Bay: Prison staff are honoured with long service awards

DEDICATED prison staff have been recognised for their commitment and long service .

The High Sheriff of Suffolk, Andrew Norman-Butler, was on hand at Hollesley Bay near Woodbridge to present 14 uniformed members of staff with both long-service and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medals.

Each member of staff had completed more than 20 years of continuous service.

A further 11 staff also received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal, which was awarded to all personnel who wear Her Majesty’s uniform in recognition of her long reign.

Governor Declan Moore said they were proud to have the High Sheriff there and congratulated his staff.
