Police have located a prisoner on the run from Hollesley Bay open prison who failed to return after being given a temporary day release licence.
Paul Flint, 47, who is serving a life sentence for murder, should have been back at the prison, near Woodbridge, on Saturday evening, but failed to return.
He was located this evening in the Avon and Somerset area and is currently in police custody. He will be returned to the prison service in due course.
The police wanted to thank the media and public for their assistance in this investigation.
