ACTOR Tony Curtis, best known for his role in the movie Some Like it Hot, has died.
The Oscar-nominated actor passed away last night peacefully in bed next to his wife in their home in Henderson, Nevada. He was 85.
Curtis was the father of actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who is known for her roles in the original Halloween movie, True Lies and most recently You Again.
His death was confirmed by Clark County coroner Mike Murphy who said the actor died of a heart attack.
