145 homes have been left without power this morning after a lorry brought down power cables.
Sedge Fen Road in Lakenheath was left blocked this morning after a lorry smashed into an electricity pole at 6.25am.
Engineers from EDF Energy Networks said they had to cut the power to repair the damage but were unable to say when power would be restored.
The lorry driver was trapped in the cab of his Daf truck after it overturned in the accident, spilling cables across the road.
A police spokesman said they expected the road to be blocked for most of the day and diversions were in place.
