The woman who died in a crash in Honington yesterday has been named by police as Jennifer Holmes.
She died when her grey Peugeot 307 collided with a silver Audi A3 in Green Lane near the RAF base at around 3.35pm.
The road was closed until 8.15pm while police, fire and ambulance attended but the 42-year-old from Willow Green, Honington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the Audi also suffered injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
Any witnesses to the collision should call Pc Karl Hale at Suffolk Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
