PETERBOROUGH star Henning Bager season's is over following a heat 12 horror crash with Wolverhampton's Chris Kerr at Alwalton last night which left Henning with a badly broken left leg.

Kerr lost grip going into the first bend of lap 2 and came down immediately in front of the chasing Bager who was left with nowhere to go, and he went over the top of Kerr's machine, coming down heavily.

Kerr thankfully, was quickly to his feet but after extensive treatment on the track Henning was taken off by ambulance and the meeting paramedic accompanied him to hospital.

Team Manager Trevor Swales attended the hospital after the meeting and was full of praise for Hospital staff who said looked after Henning well.

Henning is due to undergo an operation to pin the leg and is expected to spend a few days in Peterborough District Hospital whilst having further treatment.
