A MOTORIST who was killed in a crash on the A12 in Suffolk has today been named by police.
An investigation in under way after David Brady, 53, from Pakefield, Lowestoft, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle collision at Henham on Friday.
The road was closed for more than three hours in both directions at Blythburgh following the accident, which happened at 2.35pm.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said it involved a grey Maserati being driven by Mr Brady, travelling northbound, and a Range Rover, travelling southbound.
Motorists were diverted onto the A145 towards Beccles and around Wangford village while the accident was cleared up and officers investigated the cause of the crash. The road eventually reopened at 5.42pm.
Mr Brady's family said they did not wish to comment at this time.
