FIRE-fighters were called to stables in Newmarket after a horse got its hooves stuck between some iron bars.
The early morning ordeal took place at Kremlin House Stables, in Fordham Road, with two crews from the town attending the incident shortly before 5am.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire Service said specialist spreaders were used to release the animal which was not thought to be injured in the incident.
